LIII: Redemption

All my lost time, I’ll spend them better.

Forgetting all my wasted memories with false laughter.

As the snow in my cold winter heart starts to thaw.

I’ll find someone better as I go.

I should have listened when my mind said your no better.

So now I will fix all the mistakes I did so it won’t happen ever.

I will soon forget my memories of you.

When that happens I swear I’ll know what is true.

The truth of me being a fool for such enticing siren.

So now I’ll fix the heart that you’ve broken.

I’ll never fall again for such old trick in the book.

I’ll find someone better so than a worthless crook.

Now that I see things clearly.

I’ll hold on to myself tightly.

I’ll promise a vow so true.

That I’ll forget about someone like you.
